Rheem SA Goes Live with TransLution™ Software
Rheem SA, South Africa’s largest 100% black owned industrial packaging manufacturer, has gone live with TransLution™ Software at their Vanderbijlpark facility. This site specializes in the de-coiling and cutting of steel coils.
During receiving, TransLution™ is used to print unique labels in order to track the coils. These labels are applied to coils as they arrive on site and the receipt is posted to SYSPRO to create a Goods Received Note. The coil number is also posted to SYSPRO for tracking purposes.
In2Food Expands TransLution™ Software to Spring Valley Site
In2Food, a manufacturer of high-end pre-made food products to global retailers and wholesalers, expanded their use of TransLution™ Software to their Spring Valley facility. This is the third In2Food site using TransLution.

Astrapak Plastop, a division of Astrapak, is the latest site in the Astrapak group to go live with TransLution™. Astrapak produces high volumes of rigid moulded, and thermoformed plastic packaging products. Astrapak Plastop chose TransLution™ Software to pre-print job labels.
Release of TransLution™ V5.3
We are pleased to announce the release of TransLution™ V5.3.
New features in this release primarily relate to Android devices. Specifically, we have now included the ability to take photos and capture user signatures. We have also added input types such as date and time pickers as well as password text boxes to Android. Details of all of the new features can be found in the release notes.
LABOR TRACKING CASE STUDY: Airborne Systems
Airborne Systems is the world’s most trusted resource for parachute design and manufacturing. With the expertise of highly skilled engineers, craftsmen and aerospace and defense professionals, they have a foundation of nearly 100 years of designing, developing and fabricating a diverse range of products for the U.S. Department of Defense (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard) and their international allies. Due to the nature of their business it is critical that Airborne effectively track labor throughout their manufacturing process. However, they were using manual time and job cards that were then manually captured in spreadsheets by back-office staff. The process was inefficient, slow, and cumbersome and resulted in dated information available in their SYSPRO ERP software. It became clear to Airborne that this system needed to be improved.
What’s New in TransLution V52 – Release Date 24 Jan 2018
The biggest features of this release are focussed on TransLution Configurator. We are working hard to make TransLution quicker and easier to implement and this release includes a complete overhaul of how devices and permissions on those devices are handled. It is now possible to create multiple devices and permissions on those devices in a single step. We have also made it possible now to map fixed values directly to post and log steps meaning that functions are now not only quicker and easier to set up but they contain fewer steps making them easier to manage and maintain.

SafeTop® (Pty) Ltd is one of South Africa’s largest suppliers of fasteners and hardware products in the retail market. Their offering includes 4000 products in their 7000m² warehouse space with more than 150 employees to cater to their clients’ needs all over south Africa and abroad.

Dolomite Franchi, an Italy-based dolomite refractory products manufacturer, chose to implement TransLution™ Software in order to reorganize finished goods receipting and improve sales order fulfillment.
Within the first four weeks of using Translution™ Software, 9000 pallets had been produced and more than 7000 pallets were shipped to happy customers.
What’s New in TransLution V50 – Release Date 24 Aug 2018
Introduction
The biggest features of this release are both related to significant look and feel enhancements. EazyTouch has been rebuilt to have a much more modern and user friendly interface. At the same time, Android has been extended to include some new features. The final significant change has been the release of User Maintenance and Site Maintenance applications. This change allows TransLution and EazyQuery to share users. It also allows Site with multiple companies and TransLution databases to have shared users defined once only instead of defining them per company as in the past.
The new TransLution™ EazyTouch user interface
As many of you may now know, TransLution™ Software is now available on Android devices. Our future development plans for the TransLution™ Android application are focussed around extending the application to include the same kinds of grids and features you can find in our current EazyTouch product.
What you may not know is we have also been hard at work updating the TransLution™ EazyTouch user interface. This project is near completion, and we aim to have our new design launched within the next few weeks. In the meantime, here is a sneak peak at some of the features and grids that we will be unveiling in our next release.
Reseller Feature: The Syllogist Group
In mid-2017 the Syllogist Group started working with TransLution™ Software to assist their clients to gain more value from their Syspro investment. With long standing relationships build over years of dedicated service, the Syllogist team recognised that many of their clients needed to add a data tracking and capturing solution to their processes to enhance their client’s stock control and use of Syspro Multi-Bin functionality. Through careful analysis of several different solutions in the market a strategic partnership was established with TransLution™ Software.
G.Fox utilises TransLution™ Software for Stock Checking
G.Fox, a premier supplier of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), cleaning chemicals, paper products, and industrial consumable supplies, has implemented TransLution™ Software to check the organisation’s physical stock against the SYSPRO inventory picture.
In this initial implementation, the G.Fox user scans a barcode which is stored in a custom field in SYSPRO and uses that information to retrieve the Stock Code. TransLution™ then responds by showing the Stock Code on the screen. This code is also found on the item label, allowing the user to alert a supervisor if there is a mismatch. If the inventory item has not been received into SYSPRO, the user is able to see that from the error that is displayed.
