Bravo Sleep Products extends TransLution™ Software implementation into Namibia Plant
After a successful implementation of TransLution™ in their Johannesburg factory, Bravo Sleep has extended the use of TransLution™ to their Namibia plant.
This site uses the same TransLution™ database as Johannesburg and communicates directly via the scanners to a database in Johannesburg.
Updates to SYSPRO are done from this site, also directly to the SYSPRO server in Johannesburg.
The Namibia implementation is not a full implementation as in Johannesburg. Bravo Sleep ships labelled components to Namibia for local assembly for the Namibian market. Finished goods are scanned at the end of the line and the relevant production information is updated directly to SYSPRO.
The Bravo Sleep Products division is home to four of South Africa’s leading and best loved brands – Sealy, Slumberland, Edblo and King Koil. Mention mattresses and these are the names that most people will recall. Built in four factories employing approximately 1,100 people, they cater to a wide cross-section of society and are steadily making their mark in a growing number of African countries.
TransLution™ software was developed to assist manufacturing, warehousing and distribution companies to better manage their business processes and stock handling. The TransLution™ product is particularly focussed on robust integration to customers’ existing ERP, accounting and stock management software for a wide range of transactions. TransLution™ is distributed in Africa by Afrisoft Africa (Pty) Ltd and in Europe by K3 SYSPRO.
Afrisoft Africa (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1998 to serve the specialised needs of agribusiness, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution companies. Afrisoft provides consulting services for business improvement and distributes, implements and supports TransLution™, AGRIS™ and other business improvement software in Africa.
