Copper Tubing Africa, one of the leading copper tubing suppliers and manufacturers in South Africa, selected TransLution™ Software as their implementation partner to create a process to manage the production of their copper pipes.

TransLution Software is used to weigh and receipt items from smelting, and to label the receipts. Material is also issued to production line and once production is complete, a job receipt is done. The receipt process includes scanning the job, weighing the finished product, and receipting the job into inspection. There is also a process for weighing and recording scrap.

The implemented solution included the development of various product labels for eaches, cases, and pallets. Also included were various reports and grids to show users transactional data from TransLution and data posted to SYSPRO.

This implementation was completed by TransLution Software South Africa.
