Select Hardware has been using SYSPRO since 2004 and required a robust warehouse management system that would integrate tightly with SYSPRO through the business objects and validations. This was required to replace its previous paper-based and simple scanning-based systems.

In addition to SYSPRO integration, Select was also looking for a system that could provide traceability and KPI’s. They had no visibility into their picking metrics, making it difficult to make decisions on staffing and resources.

Select decided to implement TransLution for sales order picking, stock allocations, transfers, and goods in process. With the implementation of TransLution they now have granular data on their picking process allowing them to analyse key picking metrics such as picks per day. With this project, Select has reduced picking errors from 40% to virtually zero. Any errors that do arise can now be properly investigated and the root cause identified. This has improved customer relationships and satisfaction.
