Bearings 2000 uses TransLution software to improve operations and stock control
Bearings 2000 stocks a comprehensive range of bearings, power transmission products, seals, allied industrial products, motors, and drives. They elected to implement TransLution Software with the aim to enhance stock control procedures, optimize overall housekeeping operations, and enable comprehensive stock tracking through the utilization of barcoded labels. One of the reasons for choosing TransLution Software was its ability to integrate seamlessly with SYSPRO.
The primary aim of this project was to faultlessly integrate TransLution Software into their warehouse operations to enhance various key processes such as receiving local and imported stock, facilitating transfers between warehouses, and automating the finished goods process. By leveraging the capabilities of TransLution Software, they managed to achieve real-time visibility and precise tracking of their inventory.
The overarching goal of this project was to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. With TransLution Software in place, they anticipate precise picking for sales orders and dispatch processes with minimized errors and enhanced order fulfillment capabilities.
The replenishment process, stock take, and cycle count process were also implemented to ensure the accuracy of stock levels at any given time.
