There are times when you want to guide operators in terms of what data to enter. This guidance may take the form of a message telling them exactly what to do, a guideline, or you may even want to present the data in a ready-to-enter format. In this newsflash we will cover some of those options.

The standard suggestion text can be fixed or dynamic – based on previously scanned information – This is how it looks on EazyTouch:

The other type of suggestion is one that appears in the input box as ready-to-enter data, making it possible for the operator to change the value or simply click OK to accept it. Once again, this visible default can also be either a fixed value or a dynamic value based on previously scanned data. An example using Android is shown below:
