Shoreline Beverages, a South African non- alcoholic beverage company, has successfully worked with Afrisoft Africa to implement TransLution™ Software on the dispatch portion of their business.

Once cases from production have been packed onto a pallet, a unique pallet label is printed. These pallets are then scanned into inspection and a SYSPRO WIP Job Receipt is posted.

Once all the pallets produced in a batch have been scanned into inspection, the entire batch can be released from inspection at once. It is also possible to release and reject pallets individually.

After managing the release from inspection process, TransLution™ is then used to assist with truck loading. Pallets that have been released from inspection are scanned onto a truck and placed into Transit in Syspro. Once all the required pallets have been scanned onto the truck, the Supervisor can view the load details, remove pallets scanned in error and then confirm the load. Once the load in confirmed a load sheet is printed showing the load details.

The trucks are used to move pallets to the Finished Goods warehouse where they are scanned out of the truck, taking them out of Transit in SYSPRO and into stock in the FG warehouse. Each pallet label is unique so TransLution™ validates that the same pallets that were scanned onto the truck are scanned off. This allows for individual pallets to be traced in the case of lost or damaged goods.
