BSI Steel is a major distributor of steel products across the African continent. As a large operation, BSI was faced with the challenge of getting accurate stock figures into their ERP System (Microsoft Dynamics AX). Together with Afrisoft Africa, they implemented TransLution™ Software to assist with their stock take process.

TransLution scans steel rolls that are already labelled and logs this data into a file format that can be easily ready by their ERP system. Due to the nature of the TransLution configuration, the ability to log data in a required format to a text file is a simple point and click configuration process. This ease-of-use and quick implementation was a deciding factor for BSI – the entire project was implemented and rolled out in two days.
