HQO has been using SYSPRO for many years and needed to implement a warehouse management system that could increase stock accuracy and update SYSPRO in real time.  TransLution™ Software maintains lot integrity via new combination labels to sustain supply chain tracking from the raw product supplier throughout the entire supply chain.

HQO uses TransLution™ for Receiving, Put-Away, Production Picking, Warehouse/Bin Transfers, Sales Order Picking, Checking & Packing and Stock Takes. Case Label barcodes (include Stock Code, Lot number and Quantity) are created at receiving and LPN’s (unique pallet numbers that contain the details of all the cases on the pallet) are used efficiently to move pallets of products around the warehouses.

Since the implementation, HQO has an accurate overview of the location of inventory, speeded up picking and put-away.  Increased stock accuracy allows for better production planning and live posting to SYSPRO at the point of activity minimizes errors and increases processing speed.  HQO has many Spanish speaking staff and TransLution™ has been customized to be used in either Spanish or English depending on the user preference.  This has broken down communication barriers,  allowing all staff to fully understand and use the system with ease, resulting in greater efficiency and accuracy.

Future phases of the implementation will include the areas of Production and Shipment Integration to Carriers.
