There were a number of enhancements in TransLution™ V4.4 – Release Date 10 Nov 2017. The most significant areas of change is the addition of two new functions, unattended functions and Visual Basic step types.

The extension for  unattended functions allows TransLution™ to run functions at any time without operator intervention or frequency intervals.

The addition of Visual Basic Step Types allows TransLution to run Visual Basic to to perform almost any function, for example: posting data that was scanned yesterday or last week to third party software. In addition, this new feature allows users to run Visual Basic whilst scanning which means users can trigger functions such as printing labels directly from a scanner.

Barnes Fencing Industries is a South African manufacturer and supplier of all types of galvanised wire fencing products.

Barnes Fencing Industries has recently installed and gone live with TransLution™ Software to assist them with various aspects of their business. The first phase of the project aimed to improve raw material receiving and management of various production processes, including wire drawing and galvanising.

Bosworth, a specialist in the manufacture of conveyor pulleys and forgings, has selected TransLution™ to assist in the manufacturing process. The first phase of the implementation – the introduction of scanning and labelling into the Bosworth manufacturing process – has been successfully completed. The second phase will post data into both Sage Pastel and Bosworth’s own Production Planning System in real-time. B&J Steenberg Engineering fabricates multiple metal components and structures, which strictly adhere to the client’s specifications and delivery requirements.

BPW, a UK-based manufacturer of truck axels and sub-assemblies, chose to use the TransLution™ Software’s Windows Scanner and Windows Touch Screen devices in various parts of its factory.

TransLution™ 3.61 is a release that focuses on improving the installation and upgrade process. We are shipping 3.61 with both an install utility and an upgrade utility to upgrade older databases.
