Middleby Corporation Uses TransLution™ Software to Manage Spare Parts for Appliances: The Middleby Corporation is a world leader in three business segments: commercial cooking, industrial baking and processing, and residential appliances. After the successful roll-out of TransLution™ Software in the Residential Appliances segment of the business, Middleby elected to implement TransLution™ to manage the spare parts for these appliances. The Middleby parts department ships approximately 250 sales orders per day, in a warehouse with about 20 000 bins containing 15 000 parts – each with a unique item code. With so many codes and such a large warehouse to manage, the goal of the project was to not only track items, but also to optimize labor usage among warehouse staff. TransLution™ was the ideal system for the project.

Rheem SA Goes Live with TransLution™ Software

Rheem SA, South Africa’s largest 100% black owned industrial packaging manufacturer, has gone live with TransLution™ Software at their Vanderbijlpark facility. This site specializes in the de-coiling and cutting of steel coils.

During receiving, TransLution™ is used to print unique labels in order to track the coils. These labels are applied to coils as they arrive on site and the receipt is posted to SYSPRO to create a Goods Received Note. The coil number is also posted to SYSPRO for tracking purposes.

We are working hard to make TransLution quicker and easier to implement and this release includes a complete overhaul of how devices and permissions on those devices are handled. The new TransLution™ EazyTouch user interface

G.Fox utilises TransLution™ Software for Stock Checking

G.Fox, a premier supplier of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), cleaning chemicals, paper products, and industrial consumable supplies, has implemented TransLution™ Software to check the organisation’s physical stock against the SYSPRO inventory picture.

In this initial implementation, the G.Fox user scans a barcode which is stored in a custom field in SYSPRO and uses that information to retrieve the Stock Code. TransLution™ then responds by showing the Stock Code on the screen. This code is also found on the item label, allowing the user to alert a supervisor if there is a mismatch. If the inventory item has not been received into SYSPRO, the user is able to see that from the error that is displayed.

TransLution™ Software USA improves Purchase Order Receiving and Bin Transfers for American Printing House for the Blind

TransLution™ Software USA has been working with American Printing House for the Blind (APH) to implement a scanning system that integrated with the organization’s existing SYSPRO system. The American Printing House for the Blind (APH) was founded in Louisville to develop and produce educational materials and provide services for people who are blind and visually impaired.

While APH has been running SYSPRO for a number of years, their decision to implement a scanning system was based on the need to increase stock accuracy and update SYSPRO in real time.
