Montagu Foods uses TransLution™ to trace stock through jobs

Montagu Foods, a Libstar group company, implemented TransLution™ Software with the vision of stock traceability through jobs. The project is focussed on finished goods and will go back to the beginning of the process in subsequent phases.

The first step in the project was labelling finished goods pallets and posting a Job Receipt to Syspro. This allows TransLution™ to build up a stock picture of all stock on each pallet in the warehouse. The system also supports pallets with mixed stock on the pallets.

Lancewood Swellendam is one of three Lancewood sites running TransLution Software, with the others in George and Sonnendal. Lancewood is a South African cheese and dairy producer that prides itself on its reputation for superior quality and flavour.

Lancewood utilised the services of Afrisoft Africa to implement TransLution™ Software as a full Warehouse Management System. Like the other sites, Lancewood Swellendam products finished goods, however the site acts primarily as a supply warehouse for Lancewood George. This means that rather than picking sales orders for customers, finished goods are dispatched to the warehouse in George.

What’s New in TransLution V5.6 – Release Date 18 Mar 2020

TransLution Version 5.6 has a large focus on extending the Android functionality to be closer to the current EazyTouch functionality. With that goal in mind, Android was extended to support the two Quality Manager overlays and also to support the ability to call a Subroutine from both a General Grid and a TL Selector grid.

Additional changes include the ability to setup the permissions for EazyQuery using EazySetup and also some enhancements to the way data is logged after doing a post to Syspro.

INTOCAST Ibérica uses TransLution™ Software to label and scan finished goods

INTOCAST is a major supplier of consumables for iron and steelmaking to the German and European steel industry. This global organization has a network of 12 German and 17 foreign sites. INTOCAST Ibérica in Spain is the third INTOCAST site in Europe and the fourth overall to use TransLution™ Software in their production scanning.

The Spanish site uses TransLution™ to label and scan finished goods out of production. When a finished item is scanned, TransLution™ uses the Bill of Materials to find all the raw materials required to make this product.

Brelko Select TransLution™ Software to Assist with Managing Warehouse Stock

Brelko, a South African designer and manufacturer of conveyor belt cleaning equipment, elected to use TransLution™ to assist with managing warehouse stock in the production process.

In order to do this, TransLution™ is being used to posting Job Issues and Receipts to SYSPRO. Raw materials are issued to the job at each job operation and Brelko is managing quantities per operation.

American Printing House for the Blind extends TransLution™ Software to include production

TransLution™ Software USA has been working with American Printing House for the Blind (APH) to implement a scanning system that integrated with the organization’s existing SYSPRO system. The project has been implemented in phases, rolling out the software in different sections of the production process. After the successful implementation of Phase One for Purchase Order Receiving and Putaway, APH has now gone live with Phase Two for Production.
